We as a club will encourage all ages & abilities to work with us on our journey, with parent and child interaction, and see the club organically grow to a self- sustainable community-shared social & sporting experience.

Our Story

Since 1897 we are stooped in local history, moving to our current home venue in 1972 with some fantastic facilities available. All coaches have (or are working towards) FA accredited badges which include both Safeguarding Certification and First Aid Training direct from the FA, along with fully compliant CRB clearance on all coaching staff. The passion of our volunteer coaches is mirrored by that of the clubs staff, committee & parents, therefore naturally flowing into our interaction with children from the age of 3 right through to the Men's teams.
Through our direct association with NIKE GB, we are fortunate to be a Nike Partnership Club at grassroots level. With this partnership comes great responsibility on us as a footballing centre to strive for greatness through our coaching standards and respect shown by our members to the common goal...all players being given an opportunity to play. We are proud of our Nike Partnership status and the credibility this brings to our football club which all members benefit from.
Our ambition is to lead the club to local (and national) success via its Player Pathway Development Programme, while making it financially sustainable to maintain the fantastic facilities and nurture & attract future talent. We want to create the very best holistic experience to allow every player to be ambitious, to dream, to be triumphant (at all levels of the spectrum), leading to the Men's National league System (currently Step 7 in the English League Pyramid) with ourselves. We must be confident as a club to offer the best facilities and coaching to all abilities of football. We will lead in our own ambitions as a community club. We will be brave in our decisions. Constructive in our failures. Strive to give every player the opportunity to feel glory and love the game that so many of us adore. We will foster a culture that encourages our players and coaches. We will embrace talent, hard work and commitment. We will embrace the love for football, the enjoyment it brings and the core values of the English FA as an 'England Football Accredited Club'.

Nike Partnership

Nike Partner Club is a joint collaboration between NIKE and the English FA, which is exclusively available to a small selection of FA Charter Standard Community & Development Clubs. The goal is to raise standards in Grassroots football, from investment in coaching accreditation courses, to supporting clubs in raising their profile & identity in communities.

Becoming a Nike Partner Club provides an exciting opportunity for development into leading clubs.

We at Rayleigh Town FC are very proud and committed to being a part of the grassroots future and support in an exclusive elite partnership with Nike UK until May 2024. As a Nike Partnership Club, All Rayleigh Town Teams wear Nike Team Kit in competitive games and have club-branded training & lifestyle wear for use by all players, coaches, team management (and parents are welcomed to also be involved!) All home games also have the exclusivity of playing with Nike Match footballs. We have an online shop where parents, players & supporters can order directly with kits and accessories/gifts.

We are very fortunate to have this association with such a huge global Football Brand on & off the pitch and the added value this brings to our members/players. Rayleigh Town FC will hold Nike-branded activities throughout its partnership, and as part of our agreement, all team coaches are given financial assistance towards FA accredited courses delivered by the Essex FA. Aside from accredited coaching help, Nike also invites representatives from Rayleigh Town FC to attend National Partner Club events and throughout our partnership give us full authority to use the famous branding, and enhance the club identity on a National scale via promotion and sponsorship.
